Monday’s Update

Peter continues to improve and the fluid is draining out of his chest. However, the doctors feel like there are still some pockets of infection that just won’t go away unless they go after it. So tomorrow Pete is going to go in for the scoping procedure (technically a video assisted thoracic surgery). The doctor’s won’t know if they will do the major surgery until they begin the scoping procedure and see what exactly is going on. If they determine that things are bad enough, they will open Pete up right away. As I mentioned earlier, Peter is improving some, so please be praying that the major surgery won’t be necessary!!
